Investigators are hoping that new information will help solve the mystery of what happened to Madeleine McCann.
The then- three-year-old British girl disappeared six years ago while vacationing with her family in Portugal.
Scotland Yard is planning to release a computerized sketch of a possible person of interest in the case.
Former prosecutor Wendy Murphy joined America’s News Headquarters to discuss the development.
"I’m not buying it. I think this is more PR than anything," Murphy said. "I think this is all related to a civil suit now underway in Portugal."
The McCanns sued the former police chief for defamation because he wrote a tell-all book.
Alisyn pointed out that the McCanns claim the Portuguese police never took the case seriously

your bound to solve it soon
Most of the posters here, don't know who abducted the child and don't claim to know.
However we are sifting through a lot of mis-information...rumours, blog opinons, hearsay, and quotes applied to the wrong witness.

From the link she ele posted:
This is just plain bizarre.
Brown also proposes that the McCanns later retrieved Madeleine’s decomposing body from the beach and hid it further up the cliffs. Then, several weeks later, she believes they retrieved Madeleine’s (by now putrifying) body from the cliffs and either took it to Spain or brought it back to the UK to bury it – possibly in a co-operative relative’s garden.

Good grief....vivid imagination and looking for a little attention? Smuggled a body back to the UK...yep 😞
There ia a FB page dedicated to blaming the parents. Quite disturbing actually, and not the sort of thing I will go back and read again.

as she says ..they are her theories .
I think that what we are being told by others are not necessarily facts either ...no matter how the media portrays things
hearsay vs hearsay .. is an interesting concept too when used to sue and silence others ..but that's how I see it .I don't know the facts and I don't know why I should believe or credit as factual one thing more than another .I do realise that I am supposed to though and that would seem to be the most popular thing to do.I don't care about that ..I do care about Justice for this child
I don't know that those dogs didn't do their job well ...even with 'cuddle cat' having been washed within days (prior to their arrival from the UK).
I don't know how anyone could know for a fact either way ?

I think some people actually find it comforting to blame the parents. The reasoning (probablyy subconscious) is that we know we would never do anything like that to our own kids, so if it was a parent who did it, then our kids are quite safe. If was an abduction, though, it means there are people out there who might be just waiting to steal our kids if we take our eyes off them for any length of time.

So why do you think they have been so relentless over 6 1/2 years in their quest to keep the case open and search for new leads?

Has Pat Brown ever interviewed either of the McCanns or any of the friends he claims conspired ogether at the drop of a hat to protect them.?

IF the highly tranied cadaver dogs were correct ...she may have died in the appartment .
If I must always discredit them...they aren't worth their $200 000/year.
