Ought to be horse whipped.

Profiteering from disaster on such a large scale is on the same level as looting IMO

Not the smartest way to make money.

Problem was he relied on a third party to sell them which shut him down. At a dollar or two that is alot of money.

Problem is his greed got the better of him. If he thinks he can kid himself that he was doing the public a service, he doesn't fool everyone else. The bit about not depriving anyone in the places he bought is a cop out - those shops wouldn't have had the stock in the first place if they hadn't expected to sell it.

Aren't looters shot in many countries?

I wonder if this happened in Australia on this scale.

He should take them back to the shops he got them from and get his money back. If he still has his receipts.

Then the shops could re-sell them at a mark-up price.

No chance of that happening

Over the next three days, Noah Colvin took a 1,300-mile road trip across Tennessee and into Kentucky,

He's already made a heap of money before ebay and Amazon shut him down.  Up to $70 bottle

He should, maybe, recoup what he can at retail price by advertising a garage sale to end all garage sales.

He should make the same trip in reverse, just to punish himself for being such a Richard Cranium. At least that would gain him kudos from the media and he could cash in on his celebrity!

Personally, I hope he's stuck with it so that it takes up space and he's got no room for other stock. I can't believe how brazen he is in admitting what he did. He knew the major metro stores were already out so he took every last bottle so that people would be forced to buy from him at inflated prices. I wouldn't touch the stuff with a barge pole myself but I certainly don't agree with profiting on someone else's misfortune or at their expense.
