OHH PLEASE Gillard is crying in Parliament as she introduces the NDIS bill.  What a CON and total desperation from this fraud of a PM

So much for not playing the gender card as saying she is as good as the men.....  what a total CROCK from this person

Imagine if a male PM cried like she is and in particular a LNP PM...

Bring on Sept 14 as fast as possible

The crying is so that people feel sorry for her and that she is a good person for helping the disabled..... she knows she can't win the election just as she never won it in the first place... poor old Kev was stabbed in the back so that she could get it, remember? don't forget she never officially and legitimately got the chair thru proper process.

We are supposed to be the fair country remember that part? Fair go?

What happened to that?

Fair go to me means following due process. The public will never forget nor forgive!

They were crocodile tears because if she really felt that this was the most important policy that should be introduced then why wasn't it introduced 6 years ago, why wasn't it the 1st thing they did? They had bi partisen support for it all along considering Abbott's stance for the disabled.

Still they didn't do anything. If it was the most important thing they could have done, this one thing,  do it well, then even if they failed on everything else (which they have) at least a good thing could have been salvaged.

The billions wasted on shonky green ventures, not to mention the insulation, school halls, computers, super clinics & covered walkways in schools when asbestos is still in many.

Billions of dollars have been wasted, nothing to show for it, why isn't there any outrage for this failure instead of the sympathy she's getting on here for a confected caring moment. Something clicked in her yesterday, she finally realised she's finished, hence the break.

She should have cried for the waste instead of hugging herself with the disabled which I find, looking back on the failures & waste, shameful.

for anyone to state for sure that they were crocodile tears they must be sure that those Australian's she has heard and met,the people who made submissions, those names on the thank you cards ..and those to come in the future mean nothing..that there isn't/hasn't been anything wrong how we help the disabled in our Country

It is not just our PM who is being insulted.

This was only the amendment to the Medicare Levy wasn't it????

Where were the real tears on the day the  NDIS legislation was not only presented to the house but passed???

Oh.. thats right.... that was the day that we also had the apology for the forced adoptions AND the same day that Crean forced Gillard to a vote on her leadership...

So don't go telling me that she is rightfully emotional....

Yooralla calls for taskforce to probe abuse

DateFebruary 19, 2013

AUSTRALIA'S leading disability service provider is calling on the state government to introduce a taskforce to probe the abuse and mistreatment of Victorians in care, after the alleged rape of five of its clients.

Yooralla has also introduced widespread reforms to the way it deals with abuse allegations in its own facilities, including informing all affected families after suspected incidents and encouraging staff and disabled clients to immediately report possible abuse.

Yooralla general manager Jennifer Boulton said a taskforce similar to South Australia's Care Concern Investigations Unit should be set up by the state government to probe suspected abuse and negligent care in the disability sector.

Last year, Fairfax Media revealed police had charged a carer last March with sexual abuse and that some Yooralla staff and families believed more could have been done in terms of prevention and to notify potentially affected parties.

the forced adoption apology ?

when Tony Abbott used terminology that was there in the writing as being seen as inappropriate and offensive to some parents of forced adoption ..

he just made a mistake? Not his fault ? Who mattered in that HIM or those the apology was addressed to ?

It looked quite obvious and quite 'normal' imo that she became choked up talking about children and parents/people she had met.

Labor luvvies has been around since labor was formed. Bolt & Akerman did not make it up.

As for posting a thread & then doing a runner?? well it's like this luvvies, in my experience whenever someone replies & disagrees with a luvvie they are gone within hours, bp'd off.

But don't let that put you luvvies off, keep up the labor hatreds, after all that's the one thing we all know about Labor, they are haters.

The thing is it's not the Labor supporters, who you insist on calling the labor luvvie name every day, who are spreading the hatred.  That honour belongs to you and nero.
