Didn't feel like walking up to the shops so I crushed some cornflakes. To crumb the fish. For fish n chips.
The old-fashioned way, with a rolling pin between two layers of grease-proof paper lol
Hope hubs doesn't notice but I think he will.

Quite nice!
I was worried about the sweetness but it wasn't noticabale.
The cornflakes gave a bit of extra crunch.
Hubs said he'd prefer the breadcrumbs.

I always buy the cornflake breadcrumbs Icybuddy they are the best imo perhaps add some herbs too..crumbed cutlets yum yum!!

They are good and they always stay crunchy. When we use crumbs we use the cornflake ones.

I recall many years ago, Nana telling me that curried food and crumbing meat covers some questionable age/quality of meat.
