Now, when it asks me why I want it hidden should I tick the It's annoying or not interesting box, or It's offensive or inappropriate, or It's spam?  Unfortunatly All of the above is not an option.

It wasn't in the advertising bar on the right hand side either, it was right there in my news feed.  blerk

Yes, I got TA too!!!!  LOL   They are desperate to get him more likes; he had about 180 000 when it popped in my FB.

I had a fb friend invite me to 'like' Tony Abbot, I was shocked, it was not a pleasant notification to wake up to
