Here's a place to post videos, silly musings, off topic things, observations etc.
I'll start. And, I'll continue, God willing.
Same old, same old for me, lol.
Love this one, can't get enough.

You know I just love this song, it says so much that I believe, self-reliance, reaching for the stars, not accepting the status quo.
I'm putting it here. I like them close at hand to listen to. An encouraging piece. With a little twist, just to be helpful for some.
Anyway, I loves it, so there:

The most important thing in anything is is it true?
It's a great song, and I'm sure the lyrics were deliberate. I do that too, I like to speak the way I actually talk in rl. I hate saying "one" for instance, but it can't be avoided, it is to make sure that it is understood it is not the singular you. But in RL I never say "one", if you know what I mean.
No, I don't have a man, men do like me though, always have, story of my life really. They like me better than women do it seems, but I understand and I've understood why all my life. The feeling's mutual.
Things change, so ya never know. I'll sure not settle, don't need to.

no,i'm sorry,i don't know what you mean. i've never referred myself or anyone else as"one" . it's insulting, imho, and dehumanizing. not my style. i do type the way i talk, unless it's pure satire. the folks who know me know that.
and i'm sorry you don't have a man in your life,my apologies for forgetting your tragic loss. my sympathies to you.

What I mean is that sometimes I will say " one can't imagine" for an example. I'm sure you understand. It isn't at all complicated, very simple.
Yes, my husband died a few years ago, I detect sincerity there in your condolence and if I am correct then thank you.
I hope I'm not wrong again.
emmm, on a second reading . .
Oh well, it doesn't matter at this point I guess.

Reaching for things you can't see sounds like a vision problem.
Maybe eye drops would help.
Tricky to get in, but well worth the effort I'm told.
Good Luck.

you didn't need to "detect' sincerity, steppe. i AM sorry for your loss. and i AM sorry you don't have a life companion anymore.
maybe for once, you could take a post at face value. i really am sympathetic, because i can't even imagine it,and how much it has to hurt.
i'm dealing with a very bad time of year for me,many anniversaries of lost loved ones,or their birthdays/anniversaries. and the new losses of 3 people very close to my heart.
but i guess i won't try to do that again. you got your point across.
we'll just stick to"the game", as you've called it,from now on.except i'll just watch here, and not bother you anymore.

Well, I said that because of that stock thing, and I thought you were sincere, I gave you the advice I would have given my sister, and then well, let's just say I was disappointed.
I take no pleasure in hearing of your losses, I wish that on no one, I am sorry for that for you.
I have seen things with my own eyes.
So you'll have to forgive me if I have my doubts.
