Here's a place to post videos, silly musings, off topic things, observations etc.
I'll start. And, I'll continue, God willing.
Same old, same old for me, lol.
Love this one, can't get enough.

You know, we all get old. We can't escape it. It isn't something to be ashamed of. My younger years are long behind me and I don't dwell in the past. Yes, some of us were a lot prettier when we were young, than we are now...but I say we should embrace the moment and not be ashamed to show people what we look like now. We've earned those lbs and wrinkles.

Hello Lealta,
It isn't always about all of us being prettier (or more handsome for the men) when we were younger. Youth EQUALS beauty. 🙂
For me, the past is often what if I knew then what I know now. Would different choices make a different now, have made a different life. Probably not - but it's human nature to wonder (and wish for certain things).
Re the old photos: There are people, friends, and family in photos who are no longer here. There are changes in the world now we did not know would happen then. Different people in those photos. Even photos of ourselves - We are not them. That we is gone.
(I know what I mean)
Not about being pretty or not.
The aging thing though ----- It would be nice if I was physicaoly young inside even if I don't look the same on the outside. lol

Donna, I'm talking about people who specifically post pictures of themselves when they were young because they are ashamed of what they look like now. I say "embrace the here and now". Don't try to make people think you're something that you're not. Be honest.

You look great. I can tell you would be fun to be around. I bet we could get the "giggles" on with no problem.

Thank you cartoon and it was about motherhood and Mothers Day, I thought there was enough stuff about leprechauns and shamrocks, jigs etc. for awhile. Figured that would put some things to a halt.
I don't think there's one single thing I do that is liked by some.

Welcome. My pleasure. You can;t even give a compliment without receiving an insult. Jealousy runs deep. I thought the pic w/ the baby was your DIL.
Lovely you should be proud.

I understand what you are saying Lealta. I do.
I just don't know I'd think that was always the reason. Maybe proud of past and not ashamed of now would be a better thing to assume (the way I think). Maybe other reason when everyone is "playing."
I only know why I do things and sometimes think I know why others do what they do, because I (we - plural we) try to know other people by what WE would do. Sometimes I might be correct. Sometimes partially correct. Sometimes I'm totally wrong about another's reasons and/or actions.
( Edited for my bad spelling.)
