do we not all of us rely on the law to protect us in some way?

if we start picking and choosing which bits are ok or who can and cant get protection then we might just as well tear up the law books.

i allways laugh at the creamers who get pinged speeding....its revenue raising! i hear them cry.

everyone can avoid 'revenue raising speeding fines' by not speeding.

i never hear any of them say 'i can proove i wasnt speeding'

and i can garantee if one of their family members was killed by someone prooven to be even a 'few klms' over the speed limit they would want that idiot speeder hung.

i think the laws we have work pretty well.

this man may well be guilty of a crime but until hes proven guilty he should be deemed innocent by those who dont know hes guilty.

being arrested and/or charged doesnt make him guilty, thats for a court to decide.

otherwise we would string him up from the nearest tree because someone said he was guilty. someone who may well work for a newspaper and needed a big story?

Re: Oh dear

All I think is that innocent or guilty he should be treated like everyone else and live with his bail conditions not use an escape because of WHO he is.

If found guilty, he will probably blame all those cases that he worked on....... you can see it happening, he will play the victim

Re: Oh dear

what makes you think he is being treated any different to anyone else accused of a crime?

because he was taken to hospital for a reason we are not privvy to?

anyone on bail for any crime can go to hospital, it doesnt make them more or less guilty.

we (the public) only know what we are fed by the media. if they know the truth we most likely wont hear it if its not going to sell papers or get viewers.

lets let the courts decide guilt nor the media.

then i hes guilty we can argue about the penalty not being big enough.

if hes found mentaly impaired well thats for the courts too.

why should he be 'hounded' by anyone?

let the police do their job, if there is evedence of him comitting a crime then they will find it and present it to a court.

its not up to the media to be judge, jury and executioner.
