Oh my! What a difference.

I have been absent from the forums for quite a few weeks now and everything has changed. Unsure if I really like it or not.

I wonder if my Grumpy Cat avatar picture will still be here, and my signature. Woe betide me if I have to figure out how to do it all over again.

This new report feature. Is it any different to what was on here previously? Do people get to see who has reported them?

I like being able to change the type of font used.

The rest, well I shall have to explore further I suppose.

By jingo, there is an edit option.

And my signature is still there. Alas, not my avatar. Will have to rectify that one.

I see the edit button only works for a short time too. What a shame.

Hello

No, you can't see who reports you or get told who reports you. I don't think any forums with reporting features tell the person reported who reported them. WWIII would break out if they did.Smiley Happy

From what I have seen in the last few days I thought WW111 was in full swing.Smiley Surprised

Re: Oh my! What a difference.

The edit function does not remain available for too long, just a few minutes.

These things called "kudos", what do they do? I know a kudo is like a pat on the back for a job well done, but what function do they serve in here? If you get a kudo do you get something special? Perhaps a reward if you get a certain amount? Do you ever find out what the "kudo" was given to you for?

So many things to learn.

I can see that you have your avatar back, but I cannot find how to get mine.  It shows when I go to my settings, and it is in this ID's account but not here 😞  And it still takes me 4 or 5 times pressing the post button before it stops telling me "invalid HTML was found in the message body" and finally posts.

Re: Oh my! What a difference.

I'm fairly settled in with it.

I don't think I'll have much use for the edit or the kudo's button. I think the kudo's button is more useful for the question and answer boards if people need help with a problem.

It seems to be used here for a bit of mischief, as well as the tag button.
