There was a scream of "Muuuuuummmmm......." from my 10 year old daughters room.
The cat had brought in a great big rat - dead - and deposited it outside Miss 10's door.
Then picked it up and started to throw it around (more screams from Miss 10).
I can't stand rodents - can't touch the things - and fortunately hubby just arrived home - and had to come in and rescue us both and dispose of the rat.
Yuuk - the weather must be changing - the first catch of the colder weather - she is a good ratter and mouser and typically gets several.
I can deal with most things - but not mice and rats

I don't mind pet rats and/or mice that people have because that's different.
Sorry about your little mouse Crystal**flake, losing a pet is awful no matter what it is.

They are quite intelligent little animals aren't they. We have friends who have white mice.

Well, I can't find the snake that the cat apparently dropped in the house while I was at work..... son locked it in the bathroom so I could remove it but when I got home it was gone....
Be thankful that rat was at least dead......... lol
I hate rats too so know why she screamed...

The cat must think a lot of your daughter, to bring her the trophy.
