When did that become popular? I was seeing it on the streets over the weekend.
What are your opinions on Onesies?

The all in one jumpsuit/pant suit of the 1970's were designed as clothes (made from cotton/woven type fabric) to be worn out in public. I had one, I liked it.
The adult sized onesies of today (made of pj fabrice or poly fleece), are sold in pj shops and pj sections of bigger stores. I wonder who was the first person that wore their onesie out in public and started this trend?
A onesie here yesterday would have been good (to wear inside) it was only 9 deg at one point.

Have you noticed more chickens crossing roads recently?
One of the year's hottest retail markets is animal onesies, a fashion trend that began as kigurumi – the animal-character garb-of-choice for Japanese performers – before its adoption as street wear/sleepwear by young hipsters, celebrities and musicians.

Lets hope this is accurate
Now containers of much-cheaper replica import stock are “flooding the market” and she does not expect to see trendsetters wearing onesies in 2014.
“They will be done by the end of the year. We started only selling them to adults as a bold fashion statement and in my years' experience, as soon as large groups of 10-year-olds get hold of a trend, its days are almost certainly numbered.
From the link above.
meep - I don't know that I would call people who wear a Winnie the Pooh animal onesie or similar ones out in public 'cool'.

I love my Spyro one. Miss 12yo has a Blue Unicorn one, Miss 16yo a Pink Unicorn one and Hubby has a Big Bad Wolf one. They are so comfy, but we wear them at home, not out and about. Although our Church Youth Group is having a Onesie Movie Night soon and we are also doing a Homeless Slumber Party to raise money as well and most will be in their onsies.
People need to learn to not take themselves so seriously all the time.
