He is now waiting for the South African prison authorities to decide whether to grant him conditional release, possibly from August.

I hope they listen to Reeva's mum and keep him in for the full 5 years.

It does seem really wrong, especially as Pistorius lied just to try and get away with it.

That in my book is twice as bad as someone coming clean with the facts.

Yes, it has been announced today that he will be released on parole to home detention in August.  10 months for a life.

Cannot get my head round this...so corrupt, what an injustice- yet another domestic abuse case that only proves that might and $ is right.

Really feel for Reeva Steenkamps family and friends.

I hope he just disappears..but fame hungry ones hardly ever do...
