The puppies are coming, the puppies are coming!!!!!

We (as a family) decided back in January that this year we would get a puppy!
Miss Samantha is over 2 and the teens are waaay big enough to offer extra help as needed!

This is a BIG deal for me, Ive only ever been a "cat person"..... It's almost like the decision to have another child, very serious to me!!

Anyhoo...... My sons girlfriend has 2 King Charles Cavaliers, and they are having puppies RIGHT NOW!! 🙂
Have spoken to the girls parents and we have known for sometime that we'd be getting one of this litter (the only litter they are having).

I need to do some research on that breed and puppies in general!!!

We will spend time over their house with Miss Samantha over the coming weeks to see which puppy bonds with her best. Will be coming home to us in 6-8 weeks time ♥ 

Oh... I also have NO ideas for dog names and my teens are not being very helpful!!!!!

bright.ton42.... We really are excited!! Ive never really had a dog before, (just cats / birds), and I did my research, decided on a cav, and as if by fate came across a family (thanks to my teen son's girlfriend) who were just about to breed their 2 purebreds!
Been a waiting game since January! 🙂

A little Blenheim, so lovely. Looks just like my Millie did at that age. Get a name for her asap so they can start calling her by that name and she will know it by the time she comes home. They are very smart.

Oh so precious.   Both corgi and I are mad cav lovers and owners,   I'm excited for you too. When you can please post photos as she grows,  they change so quickly.

UPDATE:

Our little girl is doing well!
2weeks old and eyes are open. Sweet little nature and totally adorable!
Leaning towards name "Daisy" unless the teens come up with something else between now and picking her up!

you can take them at 6 weeks.

but from personal expierence the longer they stay with mum yhe less clingy they are

That is correct Crystal. I brought Millie home at the earliest I could and that was 10 weeks. She is the sookiest lapdog you could get.

Love the name Daisy.

Our only problem with that was the neighbour was also called Daisy.
