The puppies are coming, the puppies are coming!!!!!
We (as a family) decided back in January that this year we would get a puppy!
Miss Samantha is over 2 and the teens are waaay big enough to offer extra help as needed!
This is a BIG deal for me, Ive only ever been a "cat person"..... It's almost like the decision to have another child, very serious to me!!
Anyhoo...... My sons girlfriend has 2 King Charles Cavaliers, and they are having puppies RIGHT NOW!! 🙂
Have spoken to the girls parents and we have known for sometime that we'd be getting one of this litter (the only litter they are having).
I need to do some research on that breed and puppies in general!!!
We will spend time over their house with Miss Samantha over the coming weeks to see which puppy bonds with her best. Will be coming home to us in 6-8 weeks time ♥
Oh... I also have NO ideas for dog names and my teens are not being very helpful!!!!!

Hi Kylie
Your little Daisy looks gorgeous. Hope you are having a wonderful Easter.
Are you posting from a computer or iPhone/Tablet? I can't help you if you are on a tablet but on my computer, I just click on the little tree along the top of the reply box then look for my pictures on my computer, click on the one I want and open it and it automatically loads. Usually the medium size is big enough.
Can't help you with the tablets as I've got one and I've got no idea.

Daisy is still very very young. She should still be on a soft diet like she had at the breeders. Giving her kibbles and especially getting into the dry cat food would be like giving a baby a t-bone steak. Yes, she will have the runs, her system isn't used to this type of food. Also, I would be very concerned if I saw blood. I wouldn't introduce new food until she was at least 8 weeks old, preferably 10 weeks. Then you do it very gradually. Always check their poos. At that age, any loose poos I would be taking her to the vet.
By 3 months old Millie was on regular food then started getting the runs. Took her to the vet and she must have got a bug. We had to keep her on just chicken and rice for quite a while. When they are on a normal diet but have the runs then lean roast chicken and rice is the best thing to clear it up.
Hope the little girl is all better.

Yes as Kay said I'm sure she will be fine but runs that last for say over a few hours particularly with blood must be vet checked straightway as puppies that age can't cope with it. You must be having lots of fun with the little sweetie.

That is a lovely photo. If looks could kill, you would be dead lol. This must have been after the bath. I think you have forgotten the tips on grooming from the book I sent you. Now is the time to start this. My Millie is over 3 now and we can do anything to her because she is used to us handling every inch of her including putting our hands in her mouth. Even when she goes to the vet she sits there and he/she can do anything. The main words being Bribery and Treats.
Little Daisy is a beautiful girl so make sure you tell her this all the time.
