fruit juice is better for you, but has quite a bit of sugar too, so drink water as well.
people who swap from fizzy to fruit juice sometimes do not know there's sugar there too.
i'll have to read the label to check, it says it is pure ๐

It should be pure, but it will be the natural fruit sugars that load on the calories.
and are part of sugar intake.
but much better than cokes.

yes true fruit juices are a lot better for you then soft drinks
i used experiment on myself after meditation camp
did you know if you eat enough fruit during the day
not only does it detoxify on a daily basis.. there is enough liquid in them so you don't need to drink anything at all!

All my life I teetered between 58Kg and 92Kg. I am 1.64m tall.
Depending on how my life was at a time, I gained or lost wheight without much alterations of my daily food and drink intake.
I don't drink Coca Cola or any other soft drink. I don't have sugar in my coffee, seldom eat cake or biscuits and only like the occasional dark chocolate. I may have a take-away once a week. I love and eat lots of fresh fruit and salads, rather than cooked vegetables. Still my wheight fluctuates with whatever stress or peaceful times are in my life.
18 month ago I became seriously ill and lost a lot in six weeks. I went from 82Kg to 62Kg. OH and the Doctor suspected cancer, but after several tests they found the culprit in my body and I have to have regular injections to keep in balance.
I was lucky to have that extra wheight or I would have been dead. Today I am 72Kg and like to keep it that way. It is eight Kg overwheight for my size, but I am happy with that. Better to have some spare for the body to survive with, than not having enough and perish.

I totally kudo you Erica for that post and I'm lucky that you found out the problem, but... most plump people are not in great shape.
Most plump people have forgotten to get any exercise. Just a walk when you aren't busy is good. What keeps you in good shape is being healthy and many people don't cook properly, they drive everywhere and they think a diet is no mayonnaise on your subway and to drink diet colas and fruit juice (most sugar laden foods ever).

Careful amber. I ate whatever I wanted with impunity. I scarfed everything
in sight and was always 45kgs. For 25 years it never moved from that.
Pre motherhood I weighed 40kgs. I was not skinny but small boned.
Then the dreaded change devoured me. Aha I laugh at you 'change'. But
it bested me. I also gave up smoking. But never having to watch what I ate'
it piled on. I may not be huge, but I'm huge for me. I am an uncomfortable
68kgs. Ha, not too bad, you say. Yep it is.
Confession over. Who's for cake & coffee?
I am in shape - round is a shape
