OK...let's say they go ahead with this barking mad scheme.....

What are they going to do with them?

Leave it to the Indonesians to burn them....gimmee a break.

Or maybe send Australians there to oversee it.

It will take a huge number to do it factoring in the coastline and the number of boats....additional cost to the taxpayer.

And what a boon for the Indonesian boat building trade.

Probably replace them within a week or so.

Nobody has explained how they are going to differentiate between genuine fishing families and those being used by smugglers.

Families who depend on their rickety boats to put food on the table.
