Paypal Scam - be careful and do not open.

Tonight I received an email from Paypal telling me;

You sent a payment of $53.19 to eBay International AG (AU-ebay-eom-fees-admin@ebay.com)

I did not click on the link in the email to contact Paypal

I do not owe ebay any fees. Have not sold anything for over 12 month, and even do not have $50.+ in my Paypal account. I contacted Paypal through my account, and gave them the Transaction number in the email. I am convinced it is a scam, so please be careful with claims of ebay fees through Paypal.

Hi Ambercat-think that one was ok-miscued this morning early.

The problem was with fake paypal emails......................................Richo.

Me too. They try to get money from your PayPal. I log/open the case with PayPal and waiting for them to investigate. This account AU-ebay-eom-fee2@ebay.com try to bill me 385000.00 in total, and send me first bill is $1893.00 but funny thing is I only have $7 in my account. And they withdraw $7 from my PayPal account. What is going on here

If money has been withdrawn from your bank account that you have not authorised you have been hacked.

Ring paypal immediately!!!

And please do not drag up old threads....if you had started a new thread you would have had a reply in less than 4 hours.  Few peopl read these old threads.
