Perth is freezing and coffee is expensive

So I am going back to civilisation, what was I thinking bringing shorts and t-shirts?

You are correct on both counts Donna!
It took me ages to "get" that add were the bloke thinks $6 is expensive for a coffee with a lid?
That's a normal to low price here!
It's been fine today!

Where were you having coffee Donna?? I've never had sit down coffee in a take away cup. Except when I've asked for it.

I don't often go far, so didn't realise anything was expensive. $4-5 seems pretty normal to me.

Re: Perth is freezing and coffee is expensive

I was in Fremantle, it was probably because I had little kids with me that they did that, not meaning to offend at all, in fact it may have saved me!!!!!

$4 is fairly standard here but I don't think I paid less than $5 in Perth, plus I want a prize for not starting political threads lol

I pay $4.50 in the city, for a large. That's takeaway, and it's a huge (paper LOL) cup. I don't mind paying $5.50 if its a big cup.

$4 is fairly standard in Perth too.

Re: Perth is freezing and coffee is expensive

Where are you guys getting coffee for $4? I pay between 6and $6.50 and if you want a large it often comes in a take away coz that's the largest they have.
Don't get me wrong I LOVE Perth, I've lived all over Australia and wouldn't consider living anywhere else BUT you gotta admit winter has hung round FAR too long this year!
I want my 40 degrees NOW!!! Lol

I love it too, back to coffee though I think our large is your standard size coffee, reminds me of America - everything is super size.
