Anything out there that annoys you?

I'll share one of my pet hates, I struck it just last night... again.

You know those recipe sites you can look up, where people leave a comment and star rating for a recipe?

I like the sites, I use them a lot and I like to have a look at the rating/comments too, to assess if a recipe is worth trying. They can be really useful.

But the comments I hate are the ones that give 5 stars and say what a fantastic recipe it is then sneakily say at the bottom, 'I just added these other 14 ingredients and halved the amount of whatever and it was perfect.'

Grr, that's not the same recipe then, is it!!

That’s the sensible way to hang socks.

I use wooden pegs. Nontoxic German-made wooden pegs … and then I don’t have to feel non-colour-matching guilt.

This is a tiny thing, and I realise everyone has their own preference… but… toilet paper hanging the wrong way around can niggle. I was flabbergasted when a visitor took the roll off the stand holder and switched it around…

I am quite particular about the way toilet paper hangs. 🙂 I feel (mostly mildly) irritated not only if it does not hang the right way, but also if there are folds and even worse if a layer is a bit torn.

Mine is always - over the top. LOL

Oh edited to say - the amount of time I have spent in Bali - the ends are tucked neatly - for the next.

Exactly.

My ex in-laws always used to change it when they stayed with us.

I never said a word, just changed it back again.

Also, I refrained from turning it around at their place, even when I lived there for a couple of months.

It drove me crazy!
