aw Flannie, thats sad, poor pete. Was it something he ate do you think?

There's been a few dead cows in the paddocks around here. There's not much feed on account of the dry conditions, but there are patches of clover. I'd say the cows got bloat.

hi pimpy ..no ...

called the vet yesterday ..she said it was a chest infection ..she examined him gave him injections.. ..he was up moving around ..

an hour later he was dead ..

massive heart attack .. i think he had an allergic reaction !

he was in the same padock as the pet sheep ..they are fine !

sounds like bloat ..heaps of feed here atm ..for winter anyhow !

he was just one of those animals that comes along one in a life time iykwim.

and he was my boy ,he loved everyone else to but if we were walking around the farm he would push any one away that tried to walk near me .

hubby and i would have a cuddle ,pete would push in between us ..to get hubby out of the road !

and so gentle with miss 3 ..havent told her yet ..i really got him for her in the first place !

Annie, I'm so sorry to read about the sudden loss of your goat, Pete. I've had goats, and I know how wonderful they are as pets. He sounds like he was very special. 😞
