Artful, those chickens belonged to my Step-daughter, who lives in Australia. I took the photo in her backyard, because I thought it was funny that the black one didn't seem to care that the white one was mad about something. She(my step-daughter) called them Chooks.
"Silkie chickens are like walking cotton balls in your backyard. And another unique characteristic of pet Silkies is that they’re the only chicken breed that has 5 toes instead of the common four! So no doubt they deserve the number one spot on the popular pet chicken breeds list."
They are a fancy type of chicken that I've never seen in the States.

It does seem like the white one is telling the black one off, lol.

it's as clear as mud for me
.....it's called double standards
as for the last part of your post, i'll leave that to whomever that may concern
still trying to stir the pot?
There has not been a word uttered this time because the rules are not being broken. (I don't recall rules being broken in recent past themes either so I'm not sure what you (not Joz, whoever Joz quoted) are trying to infer)
This issue came up in the past, on a Nostalgia theme. We discussed it and decided that there really isn't any difference between taking a photo of an artwork hanging on your wall, an ornament on the piano, or a photo sitting on the mantle piece. So long as you have taken the photo of whatever the object is, it meets the rules. Scanning an old photo is NOT allowed.
Please remember this isn't a photographic competition, it's more of a treasure hunt. Find something that fits the theme and snap a pic of it to share.

It was me that Joz quoted. I wasn't trying to "infer" anything. I was just confused as to why, in the past, complaints were made about photos submitted "not fitting the theme" but nothing was said this time. I was not aware that it was within the rules to take a photo of a photo that someone else originally took.
However, I wish I had known, because I could have saved myself the time and the gas I used driving around my state snapping pictures to fit the theme.
