Thanks. There was a bit of a vintage demo day happening. There were old tractors ploughing in the next paddock.

Re the Tulip pics above, for those unaware of it, the story of the great financial boom and bust in tulip bulbs in the 1600's, known as Tulipomania. Said to be the first example of a financial boom and bust - based on the sudden irrational mania to collect and hoard tulip bulbs:

Interesting history on the tulips, baybizz. Tulips have always been one of my favorite flowers. Unfortunately, the critters around here repeatedly chomp them to the ground. It's quite disheartening to have blooms for only one day, if that. I'm pretty much stuck growing native species so I can at least enjoy some flowers in the yard.
A great blue heron discovered our pond this morning. We'll have to be diligent in chasing it off, otherwise there may not be any more dragonflies, frogs or small mammals left here for me to photograph.

Fayekinnitt,
I put my tulips in pots that way when they are flowering I put them on a table on my patio so I can see them whenever I walk out the back door, they would just get lost in the garden and I wouldn't look at them as often.
