Yes, it just appears as a 'dot' passing by, kind of disappointing it couldn't be clearer as it was closer to earth than many of the satellites.  Might be too close for comfort next time around.

Me too Bright (re Apophis), but oh the mess in Russia with the metor .. interesting that it went into the Ural mountains where it is believed another one exploded over the same area many years ago.

Yes I meant Apophis Tas,I  should have said that, I didn't mean to make light of

the damage the meteor did.

Damn, the carbon tax came in too late. Surely that would have stopped it happening if it was introduced years ago.

Couldn't possibly be a natural phenomena that can't be stopped with a tax.
