If you're fighting to protect people's lives, why not start by not risking the innocent lives of everyone elses. Find another time. I will have more respect for you. I was just saying the other day: Thank God that Australians aren't as crazy as Americans and we have at least some common sense not to choose this time to protest.

They don't matter to the people at the rally who heckled and boo'd a protester who had a sign that read " all lives matter ". Police later arrested him
In the past the "all lives matter" slogan has been used to counter and as an attempt to lessen the meaning of "Black Lives Matter". There are some people wo themselves are not actual racists. They are people who don't like what they see to be "the past" dragged up. This is pure selfishness. They themselves can at times be a total hinderance to the healing process. They see the adressing of racism as a smear on the reputation of white people.
I'm not sure about the man you're referring to but there was one man with a similar sign that was deliberately agitating the protesters.

And if the rallies are really about the injustice of police killing people they are trying to control and arrest, where was the outrage in the rally crowds about the shooting death in Australia a few weeks ago of a mentally unstable man who was armed with a pocket knife ? SURELY that should have been plastered all over protest banners............... But no mention at all..........why ?...........
The rallies were indeed abouut the injustice of police killing people. George Floyd was already handcuffed, controlled and incapacitated. The neck crushing excecution was so way out of the spectrum. Besides being horrific to watch it's also almost surreal. I wouldn't be surprised if there were people wondering if they weren't deaming this.,
Regardless if the unnessesary killing of mentally ill people in the line of duty doesn't get the reaction it deserves, it can't be used as a comparison or a way to lessen the importance of this latest protest. Mentally ill people of non African American and non-Latino backgrounds can pass through the streets, hail taxis, be served in shops without risking ending up like Rodney King, George Floyd, Eric Garner ,or even end up like 15 year old Latasha Harlans where nobody takes a life seriously. She was excecuted Click here to hear about it. . I won't put a link to clip of the actual shooting as some may find it offensive. But it shows her being shot in the back of the head by a Korean shop attendant as she walked away. You can find it if you want.
The difference between African American people , Latinos as well and mentally ill people is African Americans and Latinos are discriminared first by physical appearance. Mentally ill people are not!
Still you have brought up a valid point about police killing mentally ill people. Possibly some cops may feel that the mentallly ill person is less than human. Derek Chauvin's display with his knee on the neck of a handcuffed man, crushing him shows that same disregard.

Unfortunately there are too many inconsistencies and obvious anomalies in the position of the protesters. They have ruined any credibility they may have had and simply come across as a mob of hypocritical attention seekers....Unfortunately rationality and common sense flies out the window when politicall correctness enters the room..
Sorry but I fail to see where the inconnsistencies and anomalies are. Even if it was a case of right or wrong to protest when the corona virus ius about doesn't make them lack credibility. Their actions were motivated by emotion. The main one that comes to mind is outrage. Care and concern are others.
No hyprocracy that I can see.
Black Like Me
At the time race relations in America were particularly strained and Griffin aimed to explain the difficulties that black people faced in certain areas. Under the care of a doctor, Griffin artificially darkened his skin to pass as a black man.
In 1964, a film version of Black Like Me starring James Whitmore was produced.
Robert Bonazzi subsequently published the book Man in the Mirror: John Howard Griffin and the Story of Black Like Me.
The title of the book is taken from the last line of the Langston Hughes poem "Dream Variations".

Some may argue that the great James Whitmore may not have been the best choice but Kudos to him for tackling the role.

Ok. So why hasn't it been posted? Or acknowledged so far?
It does not excuse an execution style arrest - ending in murder.

Yeah, there was plenty of slavery.
White slavery.
Brits had no compulsion as to colour. As long as they could get cheap labour.
