Desperately needing all of yours ideas!!!!
Christmas present suggestion for in-laws
Retired couple, have caravan and travel regularly, but virtually seem to have everything they need for travelling. They are not materialistic at all, so jewellery, pampering womens stuff (like perfume), home decor etc.....wouldnt be approriate
They prefer practical gifts...last year, gave them a fab mailbox, year be4, digital photo frame, bunnings gift voucher.
EVERY IDEA I think of, hubby says "nope", either they have it already or wouldnt use it.
Please help me out, ideas anyone???

Joz, try to resolve the issues you have with your family this year. I'm sure they would love to see you. Family is important even if you feel like they have discarded you. I reckon they didn't.

An Easy Cook Benchtop oven. Can be used in the caravan or at home.
I have been using one for the best part of 30 years now, since they first hit the market. With just the two of us here now it does everything I need....roasts, cakes, casseroles, grills.

If I was on the move then I think I would really appreciate fuel vouchers, They no doubt have all the bibs and bobs , however one can not stock up on fuel.

Christmas present suggestion for in-laws . . .

Hang on a mo' . . they are Your inlaws and therefore your Husband's parents.
So why is "hubby" sitting back and saying "nope" to Your gift suggestions for His parents?
Tell him to choose something and refuse to take on so much responsibility for somebody else's obligations.

Lyndal, I presume you mean the turbo benchtop oven - we had one in our caravan and loved it. It sat outside on the table and we could bake all our vegies and put the meat on the top layer. When finished, add water and some dishwashing liquid and let it swirl around and clean itself. Didn't cook cakes but I did cook a bread and butter custard with no problems and my cousin has cooked scones.
We have sold our van now but use it at home all the time - love it.

Yes Sandy, the Easy Cook is the original turbo oven....still going strong. There are several copy cat ovens on the market now but I stll swear by the original.
I bought my first one in 1983/4 and only replaced it 2 years go...with the updated version of the same one.
These days my big oven is superfluous to requirements unless we have visitors.
