the kid didn't deserve to die over it, i believe the police could've handled to situation better
musta been easier for them just to shoot
If they asked a question they sure didn't wait for an answer.
For all we know the kid could have found the gun in the park and picked it up, being a 12 year old.
12 YO against 2 armed police officers? Surely there was a better way of handling the situation.

I think the question here should be, did the boy pull out the gun on the cops?, or just pull up his shirt to show where it was? I don't believe the cop who said the boy pulled out the gun at them. I think he is hoping to justify the shooting. Even the dumbest 12 year old boy should know pulling out a gun from his waistband when police are rushing up is suicide. Thats why I don't believe the cop, I mean who would do that?

He was on the ****** street in the first half of the video.
Watch it again.
I think its a good reason parents should take responsibility for their kids
And teach them right from wrong.
Banning toy guns will achieve precisely what ?
Except guarantee they are shot as no toy guns exist so it must be real.
FYI, I did not watch your video link and have no intention of watching it .....again..............
I think all guns should be banned.
Banning toy guns in this particular case would have achieved a live 12 yo.
Most parents teach their children right from wrong, some choose to put that into action, some don't. Children make mistakes.

Australian cops shoot to kill too, they are told not to remove their weapon, unless they are prepared to kill.
I have no idea what the police were thinking or why they did it the way they did.
Was he a big 12 yo? I thought they assumed he was an adult with a real gun........................ why else would they shoot a child?
My children had toy guns, my sons had real guns................but that was a different time.
