Are they allowed to ask for your phone to look at what you have just texted or just been texted??
My Miss got pulled over today cause the policeman said he saw her head look down.

they can't search your phone they need a warrant
in the same way they need one to tap your phone

You could prove them right with a big grin on your face as you hand over your phone for them to check, Crystal.
Utlimately their job is to make the roads safer for us all to drive on.

So you should say No to letting them look at your mobile, and let them take it further. Even though you know ,you could give them a quick 10sec look at your phone and prove you weren't doing anything illegal? OK

If you refuse to co-operate with a police direction they can take you back to the station for questioning.
Crystal if you believe your daughter is being harassed by the police talk to your Solicitor about the situation.

Miss had forgotten to put her P's on the car she was driving and the policman didn't even notice that.

Freddie she gets harrassed all the time.................but I think its a good thing...............excecpt the man taking her phone.
