Dear Mods..I've asked it before and will ask it again.
Political discussion on the Community Spirit board engenders hate speech, enmity, constant argument and divides the community.
There should be a dedicated Politics Board for those that like to indulge in such pastimes.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Calling a poster a hypocrite in bold type is pretty hostile and against community spirit.

Nah, I have been called worse and I take that as a compliment, comments like that reflect more on the poster uttering those sort of things that the person they are aimed at 🙂
It also gives a pretty good insight into the psyche of the utterer 🙂
So let the comments roll 🙂

It used to have more. But some posters got their noses out of joint because a couple of posters were starting new threads all the time. Some of them were interesting. The constant political ones are not.

to you maybe but many on these boards love, love love 'em.....otherwise these thread discussions would not have respondents nor views - would they?
IMO if you don't like these threads then just don't read or engage in them.
I like finance and politics and choose to engage in these topics. I don't go posting what I think others should and should not post topics on nor what they should comment on. This would be very selfish, one-eyed and undemocratic of me to push my opinion down someone elses throat
.....* tick toc, tick - tick - tick LOL

Well, that's nice for them and you, but there used to be something for everybody here. Now it seems to be political bashing from both sides, boring and pointless.

Politics, current affairs something every adult should know at least a little about. ... what do they do when its electiontime and they know nothing about any political candidates or party's? Take a crash course reading old The Daily Telegraph newspapers?
