Dear Mods..I've asked it before and will ask it again.
Political discussion on the Community Spirit board engenders hate speech, enmity, constant argument and divides the community.
There should be a dedicated Politics Board for those that like to indulge in such pastimes.

It seems to me that not only does she start them she engages on them whether it is nero, myself or someone else that starts them.
I don't think it has anything to do with political threads needing their own board. Should there be a blokes board? A cats board? A newspaper clippings board? A Music Board?
Maybe an icy board?
How about a Bored board?

Yeah so all along it's been all about revenge for the ALP on Mr Abbott. Never mind plunging the country into chaos to acheive it, that would be a secondary consideration.
And not one that a either new LNP or new ALP government leader can readily fix, either.
Am I psychic or what?

No-one so far seems to have asked the most important question of all. If Abbott does get rolled, then regardless of who supplants him, how will it eventually turn out to be all Labor's fault.

@idlewhile wrote:I think the Diary stinking govt. thread is a dedicated political thread albeit of the left only, all of the abhorrhant behaviour you are mentioning is on there and if they all stayed on that thread it would make for the forum a better place to participate in and give other posters who have a differing opinion an opportunity to put their views across on their own threads.
Unfortunately many like to start threads, bait threads, antagonistic threads, seemingly innocent threads all designed to stir so it all spills over into those.
Personally I don't mind political threads but some are to be avoided at all costs. Like the above mentioned & et al in the first paragraph.
We are all entitled to start a political thread but the majority of the particpants in this activity are of the left so it degenerates very quickly thus making it impossible to have a decent debate without sniping and spite.
We are also witness to many posters driven off and then the gloating starts. This forum used to be a great place to pop into but now its toxic with unseemly behaviour and rampant political bias and hate, name calling, ID witch hunting and the endless offensive graphics some who will remain nameless resort to rather than an opinion of their own.
just because this post is sooooooooooooooooo funny I reckon it deserved another go.
