Refillable I think I mean. As opposed to the genuine article?

This is the one I need. Quoted $220 locally in a small regional town.

But there's also magenta and yellow! Which is why x3 it's just bloody stupid.

Unfortunately most printer inks are expensive, however I have never heard of that brand. I would try googling it and maybe some cheaper brand will come up that you can use.

I found with printer inks, you have to look around. I use to get ripped off at officeworks for ink for my printer, then one day in woolworths found they sold what I wanted and it was more than 50% cheaper.

So, look around, as for refillable inks, I used them once and was told they would wreck my printer, so never used them again.

Sorry, I am no help.

Thanks purple.Annoying, isnt it, how the printer ink the costs double the printer price!

It was the refillable ones I was curious about and seeking opinions for that too.

My google search has saved me $70 off  my local quote so glad I did .

If you don't need colour, these days a laser printer is a much better bet.

TTTT. Idon't know anything about your printer. We have an HP printer and the ink for it is dear enough, but I found this on eBay

As my hubby does a lot of art work we use a lot of ink and have bought from him for the last few years and saved a lot of money. Look what he has in his shop and ask if he has something you need.

It would be a good idea to set the printer to print in draft resolution as a default setting.  When you need good photo quality prints adjust the settings for that print.  It should roughly halve the ink consumption on regular printing.... if you're not already doing that and that suits your usage.

Have a look at the inkman.com.au site.

They have a huge range of genuine and compatible inks for every printer known to mankind.

I used them for many years when we were needing inks for several different printers....the large orders usually attracted some sort of discount as well as free shipping.

Thanks Lyndal. That site looks great, very comprehensive.

I had a look at that seller Erica, but he doesn't stock for my brand of printer. Thank you anyway.

Baybiz, I'm not sure, but I think it is a laser printer?

I have no idea what you are talking about glee lol, way beyond me. But these toner cartridges (no idea where my r went last night) yield about 6000 copies which would probably last me 10 years!

As a said it was a gift and came with a starter pack of toners. We've replaced the black but now all the colours are running out and or low.

We've already spent money on it....a gecko thought it was a nice place to keep warm. Fried the circuit board and warranty doesn't cover out of control geckos.
