I brought my family a home so that my children could enjoy growing up on the Coast, like I did. I want everyone in the North-West to be able to do the same.

Does he want everyone to be bring their houses too.  Perhaps strong man classes are on the agenda or big house moving trucks are on order for everyone.

The quote is lifted from an election campaign brochure.

I had to chuckle at the image of him bringing his house along for his family  😄

HAHAHA  I t would have had to have been a Labor election campaign brochure.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

No, it's a liberal campaign brochure.

Proof read looked much better in the title than proofread and was easier to read.

I don't really know what this is about.

However, I lived in the north west of Sydney.  Yes, the developers came in and bought up the old 5-10 acre former market gardens, poultry farms, small orchards. The machinery came into form roads and instal drainage.  Have you listened to reversing trucks, all day long?

Because Dad passed on, I had to sell the home to finalize the estate,  the house that I as a 6 year old, helped  Dad prime the timber, straightened nails for him to build for his family.

So I have moved to the Central Coast.  Too impractical to move the house and too impractical to move the 100 year old ironbark trees and  the massively varied birdlife and reptiles.  (Was there a crocodile in the disused, green murky, swimming pool?)

Apparently no one else wanted to move the house either.  The developers donated it to the local Rural Fire Service for demonstration purposes on how a house burns.

I will never go back to view the property.
