The venue as I understand it (from the OP), was the Sydney Masonic Centre.  I don't believe it is a campus of the University.

am3, you fail to understand the tactics that are used by both sides to advance their agenda.

Pyne and co wanted a demonstration of the violent kind and the Lefties obliged him.

The demonstration showed that the 'Renta-Protestors' up as an unthinking rowdy bunch of idiots.
