I have a dog like that...sort of terrier cross type.  She and my cat Cleo do the same thing..it's such fun to watch.  neither hurt the other and roll around on the floor and chase each other round the house.  it's fun.

Loved it.   Young magpies are very playful.

I have watched two of them swinging on the towels on my clothes line.

Swooping down and grabbing the end of a towel and swinging.

But they used  to steal small items too, with pegs attached..

Anyone in my street who found smalls in their yard used to leave them on their mailbox for the owners to claim.

I love magpies.
