Q&A: A Celebration of Leftist bias and hate
First they always stack the panel with left and far left leaning guests and usually 1 token consertative guest... Its debatable that the token right leaning guest is even right leaning and conservative as many are border line... (Malcolm T is a prime example)
Then no matter what they say at the start of the show they always stack the audience with left and far left leaning types who usually lie when they tick the box on entry as to their political persuasion ....
Makes for a good false set of numbers at the start of the show to try and make people believe that the audience is balanced..... We all know its not balanced and its left leaning.... Far left leaning and there are many in the audience of the socialist ilk
Next they the left pane will always attack the Token NON-LEFTIS that they somehow convinced to come onto this show.... Its a bit like lambs to the slaughter being a right leaning conservative panel guest....
Then they normally always attack everything consertative and right leaning. The left are never wrong on Q&A and the only ideas and opinions that matter are the lefts on this show.
Then they will usually always attack and slander conservatives, enemies of jihad, friends of Israel and demand they all be silenced and their opinions dont matter... Only the Lefts opinions matter on the show
Most of the left panel guests seem to dislike and even hate capitalism...
They will always abuse and hate Australia and our values, and especially the liberal government:
The left on the show will always demonize our attempts to control our borders and security.
and add global warming alarmism to the mix is always a special on Q&A
and the list goes on and on of the left leaning dislikes on the Q&A show...
and our tax dollars pays for this appalling show and their left/socialist bias and hatred

well worth reading the whole article -
-------------------------------------
On Q&A on Monday night, Brandis announced the law was not aimed at journalists. But, asked Tony Jones, if a journalist reported what a whistleblower had disclosed, would they fall under the law
Here, verbatim, is Brandis' convoluted reply: "If it's a whistleblower, the whistleblower protection laws still apply. If it's a journalist covering what a whistleblower has disclosed, then the journalist wouldn't fall within the reach of the section, because the relevant conduct is the conduct constituting the disclosure; so if the event is already disclosed by someone else and a journalist merely reports that which has already been disclosed, as it was by Snowden, then the provision would not apply."
Well, for a start, as the Attorney-General must know, there is no chance at all that the whistleblower protection laws would apply to anyone disclosing information about an intelligence operation (let alone a "special" intelligence operation) to the media. Not a chance.
In Australia today, the mere threat that one innocent citizen might be randomly attacked by some brain-washed young ratbag with a knife and a smartphone is enough to justify our freedoms being fundamentally diminished.
No, Senator, I don't trust you or your party's DNA. Not one little bit.

yeah Boris, it just didn't make any sense, totally at odds with others in his own party
does the left hand know what the right hand is doing???
I don't think so

You obviously didn't watch the show.
Firstly the whole point of the show was that the muslim community (or "YOUR" community as Brandis kept putting it) could address the issues that are facing them. It had nothing to do with left wing or right wing - or are you now suggesting that all muslims are left winged too??
Secondly, he agreed to go on and apparently it was on the proviso that he be the only panelist. hence all the other 'panelists' were in the audience.
Thirdly, although he didn't answer too many questions terribly well and some he answered embarassingly badly - "Team Australia"? OMG...) I will give him credit for appearing on the show.
At least he has the guts to face up to a hard grilling from a tough audience unlike our lily livered PM. It was just a shame that he didn't provide any comfort for a community obviously hurting at the moment.

One thing that really bothered me was that Brandis doesn't seem to understand his own laws, he said that if a journalist published a whistleblower's story ( he used snowden as an example) then that journalist would not face prosecution

I think a good example of how the laws are already affecting us is the little (and guarded) coverage given to the shooting of a cleric in Lakemba a few nights ago.

You really should watch it before you paste biased views about it.
That would have to be the first time Brandis has ever been described as of the left.
On most weeks there are guests from both sides of politics and a variety of guests from other fields, including such leftist luminaries as Janet Albrechtson, Amanda Vanstone, Rowan Dean and Tim the freedom of speech commissioner.
It's OK though, there are lots of people who watch and enjoy the hour each week who don't mind at all that their taxes contribute to the ABC. Rarely do you see any expressions of hatred from any of the guests, questioners or audience.

Brandis came out smelling like roses and a looking the winner after lasts nights appaling effort from Q&A
To the first point, who is "they"? and who is "us"? That is seriously scary talk.
Also in regards to your first point, normally you are complaining that the panel is stacked. Well it wasn't stacked last night. So now you think the audience was stacked...?
In regards to your second comment, the audience asked intelligent if somewhat emotional (and who wouldn't be if they were in their shoes) questions. Brandis started off well but became defensive unecessarily early on. He didn't come across smelling like roses. He came across as a swindler towing the party line who had no 'empathy' with his audience.

It was typical Q&A last night
The effort Q&A had gone to to assemble a room dominated by Muslims and assorted critics of the Government and the country, and the smirking attempts of host Tony Jones to goad Brandis.
Yes it did, it had everything to do with the left and the haters of Austraia. The audience was stacked and they hated us.
You claim the audience was stacked. If you have evidence of this where is your proof? You can't just make outlandish claims and then not be able to back them up.
If, as you claim, the audience was stacked, who is the 'us' that you claim they hated? And again, who actually said that they hated 'us'? I didn't hear anyone say that so I would be interested in when it was said and who said it Nero.

What little I know came from the SMH.
Aparently the mosque had some unwelcome 'guests' who have been threatening that "ISIS is coming". The police had been informed. Just before the shooting the same threats were made by cars driving past.
But nothing more (or less) has been said. If this had occurred prior to laws being changed I imagine it would have been big news.
But it can't be reported because it is deemed (in theory) to be related to terrorism.
