IF they did some research, they would've found that most women did not like being called "rorters " and double dippers.

Am I wrong or did he say that at the time he was unaware of his fellow ministers taking advantage if the same system?

I didn't watch the show.  Did they question him about his rorting and double dipping by claiming $270 a night to stay in his wifes home?

Yes, someone in the audience did Joono. He just laughed it off and said all public servants and politicians claim "away from home " expenses.. Tony jones said he claims travel expenses but his wife doesn't own a hotel. 😄

Yes, they certainly did.

He doesn't seem to get it that paying rent to a landloard is not the same as paying your own family's mortgage on an investment property that they own and profit from.

I'd like to know how pulic servants would be treated if they did the same.
