I don't really care what people in other states think of the new Premier...... or her name.
What I do care about is that they do the job they were hired to do and do it properly.
Time will tell. At least there is a greater diversity in members whoever becomes Premier. One of the Katter men said he'd be prepared to work with her as Premier. She is a Queenslander and seems well educated, sincere and respected in the community from what I've seen and read.

Wrong. LOL
"Silence from the other side?"
The few who have raised their heads above the parapet are very bitter. Resorting to personal attacks.

I am sure you will remember paperchick too, for the same reasons even though the period will be much shorter 🙂
Who holds that record in QLD so far? Campbell Newman?
Previous experience 2 times Lord Mayor of Brisbane.
No parliamentary experience whatsoever. Parachuted himself in to be premier. The others with the experience have been opposed to him ever since.

At least the LNP didn't end up with 6 MP's

I was surprised because she has no policies, can't articulate properly, can't even put out costings and is relying on her persona to get her through, don't worry "everything will be so much better under Labor" seems to be the catchcry of Labor stateside and Federal.
We will make it all better..... just after we get through planting the money tree and baking the magic pudding........the good Burghers of Qld will vote us back in lol
Ooops, her persona can't have been so bad after all.

Already there is some in-fighting in the LNP in Queensland. A meeting to choose a new leader has been cancelled, and the contenders are seeking air time to push thieir cause and denigrate others.
