Re: Queensland Election

If LNP Lose the election but win 40 seats and as you say, the policies were on the nose,

then what does that say about Labor when they lost and ended up with 6 seats ?

From what I am reading, lying, picking fights, not explaining, going too hard, too fast

and other factors.

http://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2015/feb/02/adani-says-16bn-carmichael-mine-to-go-ahead-ev...

Adani says $16bn Carmichael mine to go ahead even if Labor cuts taxpayer funds

However, the Labor party, which is on the brink of forming government in Queensland following Saturday’s shock election outcome, has pledged not to put up the estimated $300m to $450m for the proposed “short term stake” in the rail line.

what do Queenslanders think of this??

so they were going to get a tax payer subsidy of between 300-450million and Adani obviously didn't need that money.  Just how much are we subsidizing these foreign mining companies and why????

I know a bit about university degrees, and they are not given unless they are earned and deserved.

I do not believe the tale about the psych degree.  Would never be given to someone with attitude.

Might have taken a couple of subjects is all.

Re: Queensland Election

Why can't the LNP understand that it is not that they failed to communicate or explain or justify their policies which is the problem . . . it is the very policies themselves which act as a poisonous and corrosive element, eroding their electoral support.

I thought it was just pure arrogance, but my hubby says, they do know.... they just want free reign to do whatever they like
