This is not aimed at anyone in particular. I'm just trying to think of ways to keep all the cs'ers interested and contributing. The thread seems to be moving away from the original purpose of taking the time out to appreciate whats around us everyday.
Should there be a limit on how many photos a person can post? e.g. 10
Should there be limit on how many 'old' pictures can be posted. e.g. 5 pics from disk/album, plus 5 new photos
or 5 'old' photos and unlimited new pics.
I know sometimes it's not possible to get out and take something new for the challenge (although Joz always manages to find something that fits the theme) so postng a "here's one I prepared earlier" pic is the alternative and keeps the thread going. Personally I miss the happy snaps from people that spot something on their way to work, or in their freezer, or garden etc
What do you all think? Any ideas, thoughts, opinions.....
If you don't want to post your opinions here, please message me.

Okay, I just read this thread- after I posted a couple of photos.
I think limiting the thread to 6 entries per person would be fair.
A maximum of half of those from the past would also be fair.
Since the thread is considered a challenge thread, by Pimpy, I'll abide by whatever the rules state.
Thanks for welcoming all of the new U.S. posters. Our home board turned into very destructive fighting every single day, and I don't want to start something like that here.
I'm open to whatever Pimpy decides.

Stawka, I don't tend to look at who posted the photo.
I look at each photo on its own merits.
I look forward to opening the thread each morning- to see all of the new photos. It keeps the thread going 24 hours a day.
Most of the U.S. posters are sleeping during your daytime, or vice versa. 😉

it is good having the americans post through the night so we have something new to look at in the morning. I hope we get some wildlife signs from the US.
I just want to say again, my opening post regarding a posting limit was NOT aimed at ANYONE. I was looking for ideas and feedback from the old baordies and the new as to how to make sure the thread stays fun, interesting and enjoyable. I used the posting limit example as it was something that was mentioned way way back, last year, yonks ago. It wasn't aimed at anyone back then either, in fact I think it was more a comment on the overall volume. So to anyone that is feeling this was aimed at them, it wasn't. I sometimes forget it is the nature of this place to get a wee bit paranoid and feel posts are veiled barbs or innocent comments are not so innocent. I'm sorry if anyone felt this way.
The only hard and fast rule of the Challenge is the photo must be your own work.

I'm good with whatever you decide, Pimpy.
I'm very interested in all of the other photos posted by everybody else.
Overall, I think all of the posters have been very civil, and complimentary to each other.
