This is not aimed at anyone in particular. I'm just trying to think of ways to keep all the cs'ers interested and contributing. The thread seems to be moving away from the original purpose of taking the time out to appreciate whats around us everyday.
Should there be a limit on how many photos a person can post? e.g. 10
Should there be limit on how many 'old' pictures can be posted. e.g. 5 pics from disk/album, plus 5 new photos
or 5 'old' photos and unlimited new pics.
I know sometimes it's not possible to get out and take something new for the challenge (although Joz always manages to find something that fits the theme) so postng a "here's one I prepared earlier" pic is the alternative and keeps the thread going. Personally I miss the happy snaps from people that spot something on their way to work, or in their freezer, or garden etc
What do you all think? Any ideas, thoughts, opinions.....
If you don't want to post your opinions here, please message me.

To tell you the truth - I stopped looking after page 3
And I have 50 per page!
I think even 10 photos per person is too much

I miss the diversity we were getting. It was fun seeing what people would come up. Like the COLD thread where crystal had a frozen pea, and Lionrose has frozen money 'cold cash', They were creative.

Maybe this will be encouragement to think about pics just for the theme. I try to do that. I have reused pics too, but normally it is a carry over from another theme. If it works. This week I didn't want to go all out with travel pics, but enjoyed seeing places I am not likely to visit.
and new only might be tricky and be discouraging if it seems a difficult week...soooo...maybe a line in the opening post to encourage fresh pics? and a limit on old ones, but not a no to them?

I like it. If only people would self-police.
The idea of no discussion on the photo thread didn't work
You'll have to wait for people to come home after work
I guess to gauge opinions

Whether or not the image is "new" is irrelevant. If I took a picture 2 years ago, that jibes nicely with the current theme, it is still going to be fresh to the viewers...........the only thing that should be required is that it be the poster's own work........
As I commented on another thread, a barrage of images by one individual tends to dilute the kudos...........I have no problem with limiting it to, say, 3-5 images, that way a poster will be more likely to select the more interesting shots..........
