Questions for those who live in Sydney .

I will be in Sydney next Thursday and Friday and I am unsure on what clothes to pack due to weather .

I live on the Sunshine Coast and still wear shorts all day , due to the different climate between the 2 places what do you suggest for through the day ? Jeans or shorts ?

You should get away with shorts. We are expecting mild conditions next week. A word of warning: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DRIVE ON SYDNEY'S PATHETIC ROADS; YOU WILL END UP IN AN INSTITUTION FOR THE INSANE.

What do you mean different climate between the two places?

Sydney and surrounding areas are still in summer mode so summer clothes are still the go.

But as any place in Australia the weather could change during the day haha

Any way welcome to the best city in Australia and hope you have a great time.

You could bring either shorts or jeans.  Today the top temperature will be 27 degrees, but it could be 10 degrees cooler in a few days.

What part of Sydney will you be visiting.  It tends to get warmer if you head to the western suburbs, ie Penrith,  Richmond.

Someone mentioned don't drive.  It's school holidays so traffic should be a bit  less depending when & where your're heading.

I think Sydney use to be the best but it is getting too populated and the roads aren't coping.  Too many apartments being built IMO.

No not driving anywhere will be doing a lot of walking . Staying in the CBD .
Doing a 2 night Brisbane to Sydney cruise then staying a night in Sydney before flying home .
Luggage was a problem due to only having carry on for flight home but all good now as we are doing check in luggage so i can take a couple of extra sets of clothes and will also accommodate anything I might buy on our trip .๐Ÿ˜Š

Weather here in Sydney is still warm and Indian Summery.

Showers are forecast for the next few days into the weekendd

Bring a cardigan. If you're going on a cruise you'll be in a climate controlled environment anyway.

Bring one good "going out" outfit.

Otherwise jeans, shorts and T-shirts will be fine.
