What a beautiful place Rottnest Island is. We went there as a part of our honeymoon and I remember the wonderful Quokkas letting us feed them and allowing us to pat them as they came up to us.
How anyone could deliberately hurt them and kick them around still shocks me. Then again, I know how some people are and what they will do just because "they can" and for no other reason even human to human, so perhaps nothing should shock me any more.
