Apparently the quote feature is not there for us to allow others to know to whom we are replying. (I am unsure exactly why it is there.)
Something to do with what we believe :^O
While (the mods) understand that I believe my post did not violate any of the eBay Board Usage Policies, some posts can be removed due to previously posted content that I might have quoted in my reply.

a single post removal does not necessarily impact my standing in the community.
Many who receive one of these educational emails, take time to review the eBay policies gain insight from the experience. In most cases, members never receive additional warnings once they are familiar with the community policies.
I think I had forgotten what can happen..... but rather than email anyone, I thought I might ask here.... is the educational email considered to be a violation? as in added to the tally for a possible holiday?

Not sure what you mean, Iza. OK in what sense?
Az, this is all I could find

(looks like there are exceptions to using masked profanity)

For expert advice in holidays, I'd ask Joz.:-D

Yup, it goes towards your record.

Is that a hostile or disruptive comment?
Probably...!!
As for interpersonal disputes....how can peeps hold grudges against other peeps they've never actually met? I reckon we've got enough trouble in real life to deal with on a daily basis, without having to get into 'virtual' bun fights as well.
I can't understand why anyone invests time out of an otherwise short life, to troll other people they've never met. What possible jollies can you get out of something like that?

Meep,Going by what you have posted here you may be OK ...others maybe not so lucky
Seriously? then who cares?. There's absolutely nothing offensive on this thread & if something is deemed to be then you'd have to say the whole thread is & it follows therefore, the whole discussion.
"Yup, it goes towards your record"
I had this out with one of the Managers back in 2008 by phone actually. It amounts to telling 'customers' to rack off because you don't like their point of view....huh? crazy.
I can understand why they might do it to people who deliberately open multiple forum ID's to cause trouble, but not for people using their legitimate ID/Account
My attitude is, if Ebay want to cancel my account after this many years, ( or anyone else's), particularly over forum sanctions that have no basis, then they've got a mighty strange business model.
Can you imagine any other commercial entity having so little regard for its 'customers'? "Dear customer, we didn't like what you said about us on such & such site = you're sacked"

Unprofessional? Yes Cue, But i doubt ebay would care seeings as ...well, last time i heard they reached record profit levels, so, leaving it up to the individual "number" whether they want to use their facilities under their rules, doesnt matter to them.
Hah, I looked at the recent store price fees.. was thinking about re-opening - $49.95 per month now for a basic store!!, seems they dont cater for the little folk too.
on 22-02-2013 04:46 PM
but the insertion fees are only 20c, free photos...and you can make one listing with different variations
on 22-02-2013 04:52 PM
Back when it was $14,95 a month insertion fees were 10c free photos as many as you liked.. then they raised it to $19.95 a month, wasnt viable for me then, certainly not viable now, It seems you'd have to work your butt off to make it work meep, with low cost items which might be slow moving.

Cue, I think you missed the gist of what I was trying to say. Many people may be OK to say a word ...others not OK. Some things that get emails which are we are told are all read (by English 'speaking' people) ..before issuing them ...can and do raise doubt .Replies to appeals are not standard issue either.
