I'm tearing up as I post this because I just found out and I can't hardle believe it. To me she was the enbodyment of truly how good a woman could be in what many at the time considered a man's sport.

I held out so much hope that somehow she would get back into the sport, if not the WWE, then maybe another agency. Prince at 57 and now Joanie (China) at my age, maybe a year younger. Like Prince, she will live on in the hearts of her fans and be remembered through old footage of past matches and apperances

I wouldn't be holding her up as an example.

She was just another junkie who overdosed

Hi Lion,

Don't worry - we are just in another loop.

Chyna was an American professional wrestler, glamour model, pornographic film actress, and bodybuilder.

Better off for knowing that?

Didn't think so

She was remarkable, and a great example. If or not she was into drugs is a side issue and we can address that if you must. She gave the world something that in my mind, can't be taken away by some bad choices she might have made. Having said that.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chyna

Chyna first rose to prominence in the professional wrestling promotion the World Wrestling Federation in 1997, where she was billed as the "Ninth Wonder of the World" (André the Giant was already billed as the eighth). A founding member of the stable D-Generation X as the promotion's first female enforcer, she held the WWF Intercontinental Championship (the only female performer to do so) twice and the WWF Women's Championship once. She was also the first woman to participate in the Royal Rumble and King of the Ring events, as well as to become number one contender to the WWF Championship.[11] With singles victories over several prominent male wrestlers – including multiple-time world champions Triple H, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho and Jeff Jarrett[12] – Chyna has left "a lasting legacy as the most dominant female competitor of all time".[11] After leaving the WWF in 2001, Chyna wrestled sporadically, with New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2002 and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in 2011.

On April 20, 2016, Laurer was found dead at her home in Redondo Beach, California. She had been taking medication for anxiety and insomnia. A statement was posted to her Twitter account confirming her death.  Her brain has been donated to science to study the effects of chronic traumatic encephalopathy

So she did not cure cancer or any thing just female Wrestling, throwing other women on the Mat

She was an entertainer she worked in sports entertainment. Working in a sport where people workout hard to get their bodies into shape to take abuse from chair shots, attacks and high flying stunts. Risking serious or fatal injury durring every preformance. Even though the sport is fake and the end result is planed, people have died, like Owen Heart.

She did not come into the sport competing against other women. She was so big and intimedating other women in the sport were afraid to compeat against her in the ring. If you read my eariler reply you would know this, she threw men on the mat, and beat many of them, holding a title that no other woman even to this day has heald. After she had more experance in the sport, some other women felt safe that she could do the moves correctly and would wrestle her. This is a sport where if you do a move in the wrong way, you could seriously injure or kill your oppinent.

Lastly, her brain was donated to science, probibly won't do much for cancer, but should provide some medical value. I have to admit, I don't understand some of these replies, people looking for any reason to attack someone no longer arround to defend herself.
