Wow been some years from my last visit, this place is a devastated landscape ! so sterile !
I was thinking of back in the day and the great laughs we had and thought of the old posters.
Lot of water gone under the bridge, all the hatchets would be well buried by now.
Are there any left ? am I all that's left ? anyway hello to any of the old guard, cheers Yibs !

Still a shame that happend Yibs. I have fond memories of RT Reunion before it got inundated.
Oh well, maybe this can be it's second chance.

Hi flashie your avatar hasn't aged a bit ! yes I agree, everything is seen and interpreted differently by individuals, it's also been many years and that muddies the memory even further. I would have hoped things have improved when I returned and the animosity mostly gone, however from what understand from some posts I've read there seems to be a faction ? or individuals ? causing grief to others ? I don't believe it's from posters from our time, this is something relatively new ( from our time anyway ) I'm probably way off here but I'm really not looking into this, no more of the same ol for me, the past is done and nothing can or will change that, no matter who was right or wrong, I've let go. If you don't it eats you from inside out. Anyway flashie good to see you are still here, it's not as lonely when you see a familiar name, I hope you have moved on and enjoying life more than ever. cheers Yibs ! 🙏

Hi Hopen, thankyou for informing about Tommy, he was such a joker, I had many emails between us discussing ( jokingly ) me retiring to the canary islands living there with him ! he was a gentleman, never gave anyone any grief and was friends with everyone, I will miss his wit. RIP Tommy. cheers Yibs.

I am hoping all is going to stay pleasant here, waves to flashy and hannah and joz
The RTR thread is still alive, but they mostly yammer on about footie LOL
Hey kopes *waving madly* I heard about Tommy, very sad, he was a good bloke

Hi Kat ! Yes Tommy was a joker in the nicest way ! I don't see why people treat each other with disrespect ? there is nothing to gain from it, I'm hoping to have friendly relations with everyone here, I've become very good at refraining now, I'd rather stay silent than argue. Yibs the shy bloke, 😀

This back and forth stuff is no big deal, to me anyhow. Either you can handle it or you can't.

I hope that what you said of this "organized" thing will one day be true. Not easy to monitor.

Have you actually owned a forum? I dunno about you but an admin can see which member (or members) made a report. And if they're abusing this function.

I really would like to say more on this but I can't due to what takes place. I will say though that it does happen. I does! I think it's best discussed on another thread. In the interim. For a better idea or rather an insight, refer to icyfroth and chameleon54 posts. They shed a bit of light.

Easy to see those whom the cap fits are wearing it and are the most vocal in denial.

In the end it's up to every member here how they treat others, there's no joy in hurting and diminishes your respect in the eye's of others. Make someones day don't destroy it, words do more damage to the soul than anything else. cheers Yibs ~ . 🤗

Yibs some of the newer posters would not have survived the old CW, RTR and RUp days, those were brutal.
I stayed out of most of it, but agree I wasn't game to venture in tooo often LOL
Those days, we needed a thick skin or we would all have been going to bed at night crying aboout the bullies.
Luckily as you said, maturity is more the norm for us from the old days, but the thick skin still helps!
Oh, and patience, one must have a wealth of patience on some boards 😂
