Rainbows

Does anybody know if eb intends making a tool available to alter profile pics to include a rainbow, as facebook has done worldwide? The tool is dedicated to the U.S. amendment to allow same sex marriage that the whole world is meant to embrace, .. apparantly.  Supporters of this amendment can show their support by altering their profile pic to include this rainbow.  Would be great if eb did follow fb on this, it would be another great tool in deciding where to shop, and where not to.

I'm all for increasing awareness, and equality in marriage (or just 'equality' in general really). I just hope that sellers who don't rainbow-up aren't seen as anti-gay-marriage. That would be a shame. Just because you don't fly the flag doesn't mean you're against or even ambivalent on the issue.

Really k1000, "(in the past I have shortened your id to,""sir".) I had given you credit for some personal quality control and now it seems that since you have caved, as you say, and changed your avi you should take it a step further and remove the "sir" as well. "Sir",in my world, commands respect and,sadly, your behaviour results in my respect for you going out the window. You are suggesting that I persuaded you to alter your image and you are attempting to convince others that I have pressured you into doing this thing. Anybody capable of comprehending English will know that I haven't remotely attempted to persuade anybody to do anything.except give an opinion. cathyjoyjoy will bear teastament to that.

o.k so I was wrong for not picpiking your id and magnifying it 400 times to see that the letter I saw as an ï" was in fact an "l" - I apologise for not reading your name correctly - In the past, when I have had conversations with you you have made no attempt to give me any reason to believe that I had it wrong. I would have corrected myself if you had of done so. I have noticed that others have also referred to you using that title as well ---- so much for the title not sitting well with you .

I accept your apology . . . . and I hope you don't mind this little correction . . . .400% = four times, not 400

When it was first used I did set the record straight at every opportunity.  However, as I wrote before, we generally do not get to choose our nicknames, not here or in real life.  That is the reason why I never set you straight.  It does not sit well, but short of never posting again there is not much I can do about it.

It's like if someone accidently called you "slyrider" just once and others picked up on it and the more you protested the more it stuck.  After all, the "k" key and "l" key are side by side on the keyboard.  Anyway, after a while the name might not sit well with you but you might accept it because it's just what people call you, and it's only a nickname, with no reflection on your character.

That's how it is with the "sir sales" tag.  You can call me anything you want, I wont mind.

ROFL   Trying to imagine your ID magnified 400 times. How big a screen do you reckon you'd need to be able to read it?

t-g-s-e did not make a typo, they were replying to me, but they quoted you.

They were just having a giggle after you said you hadn't magnified my ID 400 times when what I had written was 400%, which is 4 times.  She was just asking about how big a screen would need to be to read it if it was magnified 400 times.

It is easy to misunderstand or not read a post properly, I've done that many times.

I didn't imagine for one moment that you would want to magnify your ID. Have another look at the top of post where it says "in reply to" and you'll see I was replying to  k1ooo-slr-sales not to you.

that's ok - Thankyou for pointing out my mistakeI, have made a note to always check on who is being replied to now - I will endeavour not to make that mistake again - Were you really ROFL?..... I would like to see that.
