Mitigation and response to detected coronavirus infections is thankfully proving effective , but tends to be reactionary , so what is the situation in the wild ?
Undetected infections ? self recovered ? undetected asymptotic cases ? Who can say at this time.
A random sample of residents in one area might prove interesting and validate to an improved extent current successes , also reduce any surprises.
A representative population group of say 1000 people residing in the same suburb of Sydney , but not having any coronavirus interventions therein as per the immediate area
Notification of intent to test on a relaxed Saturday afternoon , door to door knock, voluntary only , id and address confirmed, $100 thanks for co-operation per person including children , to assist with re-prioritising activities and maintain enthusiasm for the project.
Sort of like a clinical double blind test - a baseline
Any pertinent comments ?

Just a casual figure of speech
In context " in the wild" means people within the same residential area where there has been no reports of infections - not tested so medical status unknown, the wild. ( medical cases by contrast could be known as "captive") .
The rationale is based upon testing a sample population that is currently assumed to be clean - this is to confirm that assumption and so revalue positively the current mitigation procedures and standards of care.
thank you

Apropos to several of your earlier streams of conscious -
Why would you post such thoughts here, and expect a medical opinion?
What definition of publisher are you using? The publisher of posts on the eBay boards is... eBay.
Given that you are posting on eBay, why would you only welcome comments for your moot (as per definition - debatable) points from 'qualified' respondents? Who determines the qualifications?
Have you contacted the Chief Medical Officer? He would certainly have more clout than eBay members; your target audience.
Are YOU the troll? Given you start a new thread every time you have a new brainwave, it could be argued so.

Because I do not expect a medical opinion just an opinion or question that relates to the subject matter - if a reply is clinically sound , wonderful , but if not are still valued because in a few months time the replier might be dead
As for directly contacting specific authorities - i do not have the resources to directly present a case for serious consideration as they are to well armoured against externally sourced disturbances that may alter the narrative.
So an indirect approach is called for hoping a small spark of enquiry will get through a crack in the armour and ignite internal investigations , and so the dept themselves validating or otherwise , the enquiry subject using their own resources amd adopting changes or enhancements.

I thought the idea of a forum is to submit ones thoughts and even "brainwaves" for respectful forum peer review , but may be is just a toying play ground for the elite few .....
