do the refugees in Germany not realise that they are playing with fire , by aggressively flooding Germany's boarders and acting up once there , do they not realise that they are playing into the hands of the Neo nazi's, do they not remember history , ifear for the world if the average German be comes disenfranchised and angry as the nazi movement is long way from dead. History has shown and continues to show that what has been before can be again

Umm, we do tend to be involved in many of these wars, you know?
I'm sure that the Jewish population is relieved that they were not turned away when they needed refuge, as well as the Lutherans, the Italians, Poles,Russian, Greeks, Bulgarian, Armenian, Assyrian, Yugoslavian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, Ukrainian, Czechoslovakian, Hungarian, Chilean, Lebanese, Cypriot, Timorese and those who have recently been granted refugee status from countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Somali and the DRC.

Jews were murdered in their millions, pogroms in Russia and the Nazi death camps in Germany, turned away from many countries while the world went mad in WW2.
They were not econimic refugees but people who were persecuted in many countries and one of the main reasons the UN convention on refugees was born.
Equating anything even near to what happend to the Jews to bolster an empty argument is beyond the pale

That's true, Kilroy, but I wasn't aware that Australia did so. Pretty shameful, for any country to treat asylum seekers that way.

Isn't this thread about refugees fleeing specifically TO Germany? Not FROM Germany?
