Regarding being hasselt by the mods about going OT

We could at the bottom of the OP add a line like that

"General chat welcome, please feel free to discuss OT here as well"

it would make it impossible to be OT in a thread and the harassment by the mods might recede a bit.

to the mods:

your moderation style can certainly be called excessive, extreme and unreasonable. I and most other posters here would like you to be more moderate in your moderation.

I do - but it was removed whislt Live world were still here.

We used to call them venetian blinds - it just showed a line where a post had been.

I must have been naru when they had venetian blinds, stuck on the outside looking in.  

For me the current moderation is far superior, the old could read all sorts of things into a post with the single word 'Hi'.

Looking back at the slaps that flew around in every direction, I sometimes wonder if there were a third party of lurkers getting their jollies pressing the report button and watching us blame one another.

In defence of the current moderators, even though it is a discuss anything forum, sometimes it is a pain in the enck when someone comes on and hijacks the discussion entirely.

here at least sanctions arent heavily handed out like it used to, so in that regard its an improvement but if its heavily moderated theres no point being here either, but then again theres still more interaction here then anywhere else that i lurk
