when he spoke of his drug rehabilitation experiences and came across very blazay about it - the treatment involved. "arh they just teach you to deal with it" waved his hand.. shrugged it off sort of thing.

i get the impression he wasn't serious about his recovery

denied himself a chance to address and learn how to manage whatever was troubling him (which might have caused him to abuse drugs in the begining

i guess the world will never know now, the hurt might have been too strong & kept it to himself

I guess each individual suffering addiction has their own pain and handle it the best way they can. He was from all accounts, a pretty decent man with a big generous and loving heart. The pain and sadness became too much for him to handle, such a shame. He will be sadly missed. His ho hum attitude regarding his adversity I would think was his way of handling the situation he found himself in.

Hard enough for anyone to deal with, for sure, but perhaps worse for an actor?

It's always a tragedy when someone takes their life through depression and hopelessness.

RUOK is a wonderful movement in this country, I wonder if they have it in the USA?

The appalling twitter assaults his daughter has had to put up with makes us all wonder if social media is a force for good or for evil trolls to flourish. The attacks on Charlotte were  unthinkable and vicious and makes one question the whole system, especially twitter.
