Joono..............I remember everyone telling me I would cry when our last child went to school...............not me.....I am not only not the crying kind I had waited a really long time for them all to be at school together.
It got difficult at time though.............one year we had all four children in different schools.
I have finally caught up on all my paper work..............yay!!......................we wont mention the ironing.
Is anyone else watching the Block................I missed it last night...........and it does not appear to be repeated on this afternoon like they have done with other series.

sorry Flashie, not me, I haven't been watching it

I don't think I cried when mine went to school either Flashie but I cried like a baby at the final three sirens assembly in the afternoon when the youngest one finished primary school.
They used to all get together in the assembly area and the youngest and the oldest students in the school would sound the siren three times to signify the start of the summer holidays.
I knew it was the end of a lot of fun times I had at the school too, with helping out in the classrooms and canteen and the clothing pool. It was good fun! I did a big nothing when they went to high school so I got over it LOL
Times have changed and most mothers seems to have jobs to go to now. Such a short time ago they were the minority.

Hubby and I were made life members of the school association at our local school...................by the time all our children had been there it was over 20 continuous years.............and then our grandchildren started.
But we decided it was time to give it away to let the younger mothers a go.
I did miss it for a while.....................but not any more.
Our youngest son is bored now............he has had two days of resting..........and has done the management course online they wanted him to do...........and is now pestering me....Mum....Mum....Mum....what can I do.
So I decided I am going to do some family research and he can watch some football or something...............he is quite disappointed that we will not be able to go the Hobart Cup now..............he had bought himself a brand new outfit too.
Oh...........I have taken back the bell too.

A quick post as we are about to lose our electricity for most of the day (some sort of work being carried out).
